The process for custom built PE lining of pipes requires specialized coating ovens able to evenly melt a 2-10mm thick layer of PE to the inside of pipes. A major advantage of the rotational lining process is pipes of nearly any shape and size are perfectly lined with a thick seamless lining.
This lining has superior anti-corrosion characteristics equal to glass reinforced epoxy (GRE) pipes but at a fraction of the price plus the structural advantages of steel pipes.
Schaus said, “Our engineers worked around the clock to meet the tight delivery deadlines and because of their hard work, we succeeded on deadlines that other companies said were impossible.”
